THE DEMONSTRATORS - OVER HALF OF WHICH WERE FROM THE BREAKAWAY PROVINCE - HANDED IN A PETITION AT THE BRITISH PRIME MINISTER'S RESIDENCE, AND CALLED AT THE EGYPTIAN EMBASSY TO DELIVER A LETTER PROTESTING AT THE USE OF EGYPTIAN PILOTS TO FLY NIGERIAN MIG BOMBERS.

IT WAS A QUIET DEMONSTRATION; THE MARCHERS DISPERSED WITHOUT INCIDENT WHEN THEY HAD ACCOMPLISHED THEIR TASKS.
