Security measures have been stepped up in Beirut cinemas. Cinema managers are worried about the possibility of reprisal raids following a grenade attack by a Palestinian guerrilla on a Tel Aviv cinema last week.
Three people - including the bomber - died in the blasts and 50 people were injured.
The cinema managers said patrons would be searched and no-one would be allowed to leave the auditorium before the end of the screening.
Security men have been called in to make the checks. Cinema-goers seem to be accepting the measures calmly and the managers say there has been no drop in attendances.
