  • Description

SCOPE: This film coverage is of a POW Choir originally formed in Hanoi while the members were in captivity and are now celebrating their first Christmas at home.

This 1973 holiday season marks the first at home for the Southeast Asia POW??? since their imprisonment. Even though the holidays for them will be the happiest in many years, there still remain more than 1,200 American servicemen who are missing in action. The Department of Defense maintains a continuing search for these men.

One group of returnees held church services in Hanoi and had formed a choir. They symbolize the hope that the MIA (Missing in Action) problem will be resolved in the New Year. We thought you would like to see and hear them.
