Background: The Royal Horticultural Hall in London's Westminster is the scene of hundreds of new ideas, the brainwaves of both British and many overseas inventors.

"Linpex '70", the second London International Inventions and New Products Exhibition, is the show-place for new inventions, products and many varied aids for industry, commerce and the home.

It is sponsored by the Institute of Patentees and Investors, and features over 100 entries from Poland, Switzerland, France, Norway, South Africa and Great Britain.

Among the novel exhibits are a multiple bread-toasting machine, a device for automatically rocking a baby to sleep, and a cigarette holder which allows the smoker to regulate the volume of smoke he inhales.
