Background: Australia won the Unicorn International Invitation Darts Match for the second year running in London, U.K. on Saturday (20 March). The Australian team, George Foster and Kevin White, beat Belgium's Willy Delaere and Omer Bauwens three-nil.
In the semi-finals Australia beat Wales three-nil and Belgium beat Scotland three-two.
When the Australians met their opponents in the finals it soon became apparent that both players were on top form as White beat WP and Foster beat Bauwens in the singles. They then teamed up to win the double event three-nil.
As well as the finalists teams from Bermuda, Canada, Denmark, Gibraltar, Malta, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, U.S.A., and West Germany took part in the preliminary rounds of the championships held at the West Centre Hotel on Friday (19 March).

Earlier he had beaten Bauens in the singles and White had beaten Delaere.
Bauwens throws his first darts for a score of forth three. In the semi-finals the Belgians beat Scotland three-two and Australia beat Wales three-nil.
And then White takes the floor.
And scores a hundred and twenty five.
Bauwens aims for double at the top of the board - PAUSE - but misses.
White at the board again and this could be the winning point.
Yes .. he gets his double and it's a win for Australia three games to nil.
It was the second year running that Australia has won the match. This year teams from Bermuda, Canada, Denmark, Gibraltar, Malta, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, U.S.A., and West Germany took part.
But the Aussies were the crowd's favorites on Saturday and as that popular song "Waltzing Mathilda" was struck up everyone joined in to toast the reigning champs of the international darts scene.
