This Royal Bengal tiger's Toronto Zoo's most recent father. But he hasn't seen his kitten, since his mate died giving birth to her. This thirty-pound kitten's no match for her four-hundred pound father. But the kitten, Satu, they call her, is learning the ways of a big tiger. She's just slightly larger than a cocker spaniel, which means that she's outgrown her former playmate --- a daschund. She used to live in the home of the zoo director, Dr. Norman Scollard, where she played with their daschund, Mitzi. Satu was raised as a bottle baby in the doctor's home when her mother died. But them she became too rough and had to go back to the zoo.
Her father's a rough one too ...he once took twenty seconds to kill a pair of cheetah when they blundered into his cage.
Satu's still a kitten, but she gets rougher and tougher by the day, which to a promise that one day she'll be a ferocious as her father.
