The inaugural ceremony took place this afternoon at the Unknown Warriors' Tomb, during which French Colonel Henri Debrus, President of the CISM Executive Committee, laid a wreath on behalf of the visitors.
Later, the General Assembly was officially opened by Defense Undersecretary Themelis at the Greek Officers' Club Hall. The Congress will last until October 19th, 1959.
