  • Description

500 Japanese Buddhists and some Christians including 4 South Vietnam Buddhists students assembled at Miyashita Park in Tokyo tonight amidst rain to protect against South Vietnam Government to stop their suppression for South Vietnam buddhists.

They adopted a resolution that South Vietnam Government should ban any suppression for buddhists and the United States government should not support Go-diem government immediately.

Generally, buddhists are quiet and they do not assemble or demonstrate for public for such a purpose. However, the participants shouted that they are unable to stand South Vietnam government's suppression for buddhists any more in the name of humanity.
