(There was also no light when the pigeons were released however with Tri X and whatever artificial light could be arranged in hurry, the photography will show some good shots, quite enjoyable).
No newspaper cutting of his exact speech can be enclosed since this is being shipped in the night, after his speech and the papers are not yet out.

Background: On the afternoon of 24th, a public meeting was organized in view of U.N. Day. It was held at Ramlila grounds. Pt. Nehru came there at 5.30 P.M. It was attended by public, members of the parliament, ministers and the diplomatic corp. Mr. Dhebar, the congress President also came. Before addressing Mr. Nehru released the pigeons as the symbol of PEACE. Meeting was attended by about 50,000 people.
