    Thai Prime Minister General Kriangsak Chamanan said today (April 6) in Hong Kong that the Chinese leaders had reaffirmed their full support for the foreign policies of Thailand in Normalizing relations with the three Indochina countries, and expressed their desire to see peace and stability in the region.

    Speaking to a press luncheon at the Foreign Correspondent Club after a week-long visit to China, General Kriangsak said, "The Chinese leaders expressed full support for the foreign policies of Thailand, especially our policy to be friends with all countries irrespective of their economic, social or administrative structures, based on the principles of peaceful coexistence."
    "In particular the Chinese leaders expressed support for Thailand's moves to normalize relations with the three Indochina countries," he added.

    Reviewing the results of his visit to Peking, he also said that Chinese Vice-Premier Teng Hsiao-Ping had expressed +whole hearted Chinese support+ for the five members Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).
