Major Atlee says that the government seems satisfied with 2 million people out of work, We of the Labour Party say if this is the best that can be under the present system, then the present system must go. J. Maxton, Leader of the Independent Labour Party says that his party will demand justice for the working class, employed and unemployed. L. George says that we want wages for work and not doles for people who have nothing to do. Let Britain lead the world in another genuine effort to eliminate the horrors of War. Off-stage voice talks about the unemployed in this country and talks about their Majesties the King and Queen.
