Background: In Munich, West Germany today (Monday) several hundred people plan to stage a rally to protest against nuclear weapons. They will also appeal for disarmament.
Not only Germans marched. The column also had representatives from Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Greece and Great Britain. Many carried banners and placards denouncing nuclear weapons. It was a peaceful, orderly protest which one newspaper likened to a "picnic" outing.
At Pasing the marchers will be joined by another anti-H-bomb contingent from Augsburg. Together they'll enter Munich.
