INTRODUCTION: The Tunisian Prime Minister, Mr. Hedi Nouira, arrived in Moscow on Monday (4 April) at the start or an official visit to the Soviet Union. He's seeking aid for Tunisia's current economic plan.
SYNOPSIS: Mr. Nouira was invited to the soviet Union by Premier Alexei Kosygin, who was at Moscow Airport to welcome his Tunisian counterpart. Before leaving home, Mr. Nouira had said he would take the opportunity to examine the rapport, friendship and co-operation between the two countries and to seek ways of improving them further.
Soviet officials said that among the subjects listed for discussion with the Tunisian delegation were the current state of affairs in the Middle East. Mr. Nouira himself said he would be seeking Soviet aid for the Tunisians current five-year economic development plan, which runs from this year to 1981.
