    BRITISH, AUSTRALIAN, NEW ZEALAND, AND INDIAN TROOPS WERE AMONG THOSE WHO FOUGHT IN THE ABORTIVE CAMPAIGN ON GALLIPOLI IN 1915.

    THE SERVICE AT KRANJI WAS CONDUCTED BY THE VERY REVEREND E. O. SHIELD, DEAN OF ST. ANDREW'S ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL IN SINGAPORE.

    WREATHS WERE LAID BY THE DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR AUSTRALIA, MR. W. B. PRITCHETT, THE DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSIONER FOR NEW ZEALAND, MR. B. S. LENDRUM: THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF FAR EAST, ADMIRAL SIR VARYL BEGG; THE CHIEF OF THE NEW ZEALAND AIR STAFF, AIR VICE MARSHAL I. G. MORRISON, AND THE COMMANDER AUSTRALIAN ARMY FORCES, BRIGADIER F. R. EVANS
