Australia's Deploy Prime minister, Dr. Jim Cairns, arrived in Peking on Thursday (10th October) during as day tour aimed at s???engthening trade relatione between Australia and The People's Republic of China.
Dr. Cairns-- making his third visit to Peking in 18 months-- arriving from Shanghai, where he and his wife had spent ??? days, mainly sight ???ing.
The Australian delegation was accompanied on the flight from hanghai by the Chinese Vice-Minister of Foreign Trade, Chai Shu-fan. The ??? was greeted at Peking airport by the Ohiness Minister of Foreign Trade, Li Chiang, the Minister of Agriculture and orestry, Sha Reng, Vice Foreign Minister, Ma Wen-po and the Ohairman of the China ouncil for the pyo???ion of International trade, Waug Yao-thing.
Also at the airport were a party of Australians preparing and exhibition of Australian industry in Peking. Dr. Cairns war to open the exhibition--- the largest Australia has ever stated abroad.
