    NEW OIL DOCK OPENED - EASTHAM, Manchester Ship Canal.

    GV. New oil dock at Eastham - pan & various shots. SV. Bows and name of ship - Valletia. CU. The master, Captain Thornton orders cast off. SV. Pan, seamen casting off. LV. Valletia about to pass from lock into new dock. 16 gun salute is fired. Jets fly past overhead (R.A.F. Meteors). LV. Tugs towing Valletia. LV. Tugs moving Velletia as she blows siren. SV. Helmsman. CU. Engine telegraph to stop. Men at work on ship. Announcement that docks will bear the name of the Queen Elizabeth Dock.
