Despite the title card, all references to "Seagrave" should read Segrave, (Henry Segrave).
The race seen here is the 1924 French Grand Prix.
The race was held on 3 August 1924.
"C/U of two men surrounded by a crowd, one man wears an 'Alfa Romeo' sweater - could be Seagrave" - no, the man in the Alfa Romeo gear is race-winner Giuseppe Campari. The man on the right is second-placed driver Albert Divo.
