    M/S of King George V, inspecting a row of veterans in different types of military uniforms (Sir Dighton is on the end in a cocked hat), the King is accompanied by several high ranking officers and one of the Princes ( probably Edward, Prince of Wales ).

    M/S of Sir Dighton shaking hands with the King and Queen Mary in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, the other veterans follow one at a time. Various shots of the King and Queen standing on the steps of the Palace shaking hands with dignitaries, veterans and war heroes.

    This Afternoon Party, for recipients of the Victoria Cross, was held on 26 June 1920.

    The man wearing the cocked hat at the end of the line is not Sir Dighton Probyn. General Probyn, who had a distinctively large, white beard, appears later on in the clip at 01.03.
