    Huge crowds of spectators, nearly all male, at Football Association Cup Final match held at the brand new Wembley Stadium; 1923. Greater London / Middlesex.

    Opens with shot of cheering crowd; covering nearly entire screen. Closer shots of people cheering and waving. Someone holds up puppet on a stick. Pan on lots of men and boys waving hats. MS sportswriters (?) sat in front row and scribbling with pencils; more cheering young men behind them.

    Shot from stands looking over heads at masses and masses of people; spilling out of the stands and swarming onto the playing field. MS three men talking and laughing; one holds a giant hammer (quite possibly a smuggled Pathe camera is hidden inside!) MS crowds walking. Good aerial shot over football stadium.

    The game was played on 28 April 1923.

    Just visible above the crowd at 00:59 is "Billy" the famous White Horse of Wembley, who dispersed the large crowds that had flooded on to the pitch.

    "one holds a giant hammer (quite possibly a smuggled Pathe camera is hidden inside)" - that certainly isn't the camera that Jack Cotter smuggled in to the game, but maybe it is on another clip?
