How about Queen Alice? There hasn't been a Queen Alice before but there have certainly been some Princess Alice's and they all lived pretty long lives. Princess Alice of Albany (pictured here) was the last surviving grandchild of Queen Victoria. She died aged 97 and at the time she was the longest-lived British Princess of the Blood Royal. Then there was Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester (Aunt to Queen Elizabeth II) who reached the age of 103. And Prince Philip's mother was Princess Alice of Battenberg who died aged 84. So if longevity is anything to go by, the royal Alice's have had a lucky run.
