Bulls no-eye

That's right - Blind Darts. In the 1950s Brixton's blind community formed a darts team. With a bit of guidance to the start line and knowledge of how high up on the wall the board was the gents realised that they were actually pretty good. A vicar volunteered to join the team and collect darts after they had been thrown - and away they went!

The team toured pubs around the country, admittedly with a bit of a novelty appeal that landlords enjoyed for pulling in punters, and they managed to beat several sighted town teams!
