British Inventions - The Good And The Great

This workspace contains clips of inventions that could be considered good or great. It includes not only the famous ones, but also inventions by members of the public that seem to serve some practical purpose. The inventions one might class as "great" are as follows: Hovercraft, Television, Concorde, Radio telescope, Radar, Whittle jet engine, Zebra crossings, Harrier jet. The British Pathe archives contain more footage of inventions both good and not-so-good that may or may not be British.
