This quartet of Alfred Hitchcock clips contains a fantastic interview with Ingrid Bergman wihch includes natural sound, and an interview of Hitchcock himself conducted by Pathe's very own John Parsons. 'Alfred Hitchcock Receives Zoo Gift' shows the famous director at Los Angeles Zoo (where Hitchcock was also 'director'). 'Elstree Studio Casting' has to be British Pathe's finest piece of Alfed Hitchcock footage however. The clip depicts a young Hitchock sitting amongst a panel of directors, writers and casting agents as they watch a host of young wannabe actresses parade around a room. The men in Hitchcock's company smoke and exchange notes whilst the prospective leading ladies exhibit their talents!
