  1. Nabil Shaban says

I, Nabil Shaban was the little boy in the wheelchair featured in this Pathe film. Where the text writes "C/U nurse wrapping blanket around boy (that's me, Nabil Shaban) in wheelchair. M/S as black girl and white boy (that's me again, Nabil Shaban), both in wheelchairs, are wheeled into the store."
The nurse accompanying me in the film, recently sent me a photo from the same Bentalls shopping excursion in 1960, of me receiving a teddy bear from the shop Santa. She is also in the photo, so I know it is me in the film.
This must be my first film appearance. I have had many more appearances since then on television, film and on stage, as for the past thirty-odd years I have pursued a career as a professional actor. Perhaps being filmed by Pathe at the age of 7 gave me a liking for "show biz".
