    Penge, South London.

    M/S of French windows and an overgrown garden at the back of a school. A group of scruffy kids charge excitedly out of the doors past the camera. M/S of the group of kids running up a suburban street and through the front gate of one of the houses. M/S of the kids joining a larger group crowded around the front door steps of a Victorian terrace house. C/U of a hand written sign on the front door which reads: 'Next session for taking dogs for a walk 2pm'. M/S of the door opening and all the kids rushing in. The house owner, Graham Beagley, looks after unwanted pets and runs the 'Find A Dog A Home' scheme. He does not have time to exercise all the dogs so he gets local children to help.

    M/S of a row of ramshackle kennels with corrugated iron roofs. Dogs of different sizes are tied outside the kennels. The kids run down the path to the dogs. The children take a dog each and release their leads. M/S of two little girls fussing over two Afghan hounds. C/U of a little girl, tilt down to the golden retriever she is stroking. C/U of a little boy petting a brown spotted mongrel. M/S of a little girl and a dachshund, behind her a little boy is stroking a black poodle. M/S of an older boy walking up to a golden retriever tied to a tree. C/U of the dog jumping up to greet the boy. M/S of two collies tied to a fence being patted by a boy and a girl. A woman enters and releases their leads. C/U of the little girl and the collie. M/S of the little girl and boy leading the collies away. M/S of the front door. A boy walks down the steps carrying a Yorkshire terrier, closely followed by two girls with a greyhound and a collie. L/S of the house and the front door. A panning shot follows all the children and dogs out of the door and down the street. C/U of a little girl cuddling a very cute fluffy puppy.

    M/S of trees in a park. The children and dogs run towards the camera. Some of the dogs are not strays but pedigrees bred by Mr. Beagley to pay for his "animal boarders". M/S of a girl and poodle running through Autumn leaves. L/S of the backs of the children and dogs running around.
