  • Para 2 - "A.K. Stephenson (or Stevenson?)" - it's A K Stevenson, long-time Secretary of the RSAC.

    Paragraph 12 - "Journalists Frostic (?) and Boyd (?)" - its Michael Frostick and Maxwell Boyd.

    Penultimate paragraph - "Can lid states that this is the 1966 Monte Carlo rally but I'm not so sure" - it is the 1966 Monte Carlo rally. It ran from 14-20 January 1966.

    At 01:48, Henri Greder in a Ford Mustang.

    At 02:58, Gordon King and Graham Marlowe in a Ford Cortina.

    At 03:05, Gunter Klass and Rolf Wutherich in the red Porsche 911, No 131.

    At 03:07, Hans Walter and Werner Lier, in red Porsche 911 No. 139.

    At 03:10, Gunther Selbach and Werner Seelinger in Ford Taunus, No. 129.

  • At 06:52, No. 46 is the Datsun of Ewold Van Bergen and Sydney Wakely Smith.

    At 07:13, No. 97 is the Ford Cortina of Alan Allard.

    At 08:22, the Lancia of Carlo Fagioli and Roberto Volpi.

    At 09:14, No. 24 is the Renault of Jean Vinatier.

    Paragraph 13 - "Gabrielle Renault (?) and her co-driver" - the spelling of Gabrielle Renault is correct. The co-driver is Colette Gassier. (That's them in the No. 36 Renault at 09:36).

    Paragraph 14 - "Timo Makinen (sp?)" - yes, that's the correct spelling.

    Paragraph 14 - "Ford Cortina of Sweden's is third" - should read Ford Cortina of Sweden's Bo Ljungfeldt.

    Paragraph 14 - "A privately entered Volvo" - that's the car of Jens Nielsen.
