Various locations of events.
In Otford, Kent, we see various shots of Nancy Richardson and her huge collection of cats. They all gather round her in their yard to be given some milk. We see a shaggy dog sitting amongst the cats. The cats just look at him and wash each other.
At Raynes Park in London we see a huge cat waddling along the street and into his garden. Commentator claims this is the largest cat in the world, weighing 35 lbs and measuring 14'' across. The poor thing sits on a sheet of newspaper and looks hardly able to move. He sits and watches a normal-sized cat playing with a bell on a piece of string. The large cat eats from a bowl. We hear that he is given 5 meals a day. This is quite horrible! (Did his owners deliberately fatten him up to be a freak and live a life of misery?)
In Ealing, London, we see Mrs Muller and her cat. The stripes on the cat's fur spells out 'Mice'! (It has been more clearly defined by makeup or paint in some shots!)
In London we see various shots of a street called 'Hanging Sword Alley'. C/U of street sign showing the name. We then see shots of 'Bleeding Heart Yard' and street sign.
In Pathe Studio we see Alec Shaw, wearing a tam-o'-shanter, explaining how he plays a tune on a pencil. He puts the pencil against one of his teeth and moves his fingers up and down in unison with his breathing. He plays a scale, then gives us the Sailor's Hornpipe on the pencil.

WW2 accounted for over 60m deaths and innumerable lives shattered. Pathé cameras took to land, sea and air to record the bloodshed. Here are the 10 bloodiest battles that were caught on film.
Life before health and safety laws; men worked at huge heights, balancing on girders and cranes all in order to help build the world's tallest skyscrapers.
