    Continued from 'With the Duke of Connaught in India' - Reel 1.

    Duke of Connaught (Prince Arthur) and others climb ladders to 'seats' on elephants during Safari in Central Provinces. Elephants walking through river beside small bridge. Closer; elephants wading; Indians wading. Unusual transportation. D of C climbs ladder to platform in tree. LS Many hunters advance across plain. MS Englishmen & Indians stand in tall grass.

    Brits take tea in shade. Returning; climbing down from elephant. Turbaned Indians carry 2 long poles with dead tiger tied to them. The British pose at camp; with row of deer head trophies in front of them.

    Meets ruling Princes at Delhi; who wear fabulous clothing. A few cars driving up including a bizarre automobile; the front of which is decorated like a swan; with a huge neck and head protruding - honestly. D of C rides in open coach; guys on horseback ride along; on road with white pillars on sides.

    D of C attends garden party with Indian royalty at Delhi. Indian princes in rich fabrics and priceless jewels; D of C in elaborate uniform with many decorations; braids; plumed helmet etc. CU Indian princes. D of C with Lord Chelmsford, until recently Viceroy (succeeded by Lord Reading).
