    Full title reads: "Edinburgh. With Regal Pageantry. Mr John Buchan MP - the Lord High Commissioner - as representative of the King - holds Levee and opens the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland."

    An open carriage drives away followed by cavalry troops.

    Various dignitaries - many in uniform - walk in procession - presumably one of these is John Buchan.

    The parading dignitaries walk into building to begin the General Assembly.
