M/Ss of snow-covered mountains and trees at Cairngorm, Scotland, then of a group of people walking down a snow covered street from the Craiglynne Hotel, Grantown-on-Spey, all carrying skis. M/Ss & C/Us as they all walk past us along various pathways (one woman is wearing great cat-eye sunglasses) and come to the higher ground, turning off to go through a gate. C/U of a woman putting her skis on, M/S of other people adjusting skis; C/U of a man greasing the bottom of his skis. M/S as a woman stands on one leg and puts the other one in the air so the man can grease the bottom of her ski.

M/S of a woman clambering up the hill to grab onto a towing rope which takes her up the rest of the way; we pan with her to show there are others ahead of her on the rope. M/S of a group of people climbing up the hill in their skis; C/Us of a skier's feet climbing sideways up the hill; then of a group of four climbing by putting the skis down in a v-shape - they climb in unison; then of a woman climbing up with rather snow-clogged skis.

M/S and C/U of skiers standing in a line (receiving instruction?); M/S of a man skiing through the starting prongs (slaloms) followed by two women. L/S as they ski down the hill through the slaloms. Great low angle shot as three skiers come down the hill towards us in a line and open their legs to ski over the camera. M/Ss of skiers coming down the hill; five coming down in a line, all holding hands; four skiers coming down one behind the other, holding onto each other round the waist - two at the back fall over, soon followed by the other two.

L/S of skiers skiing down the hill, in and out of the slalom poles; M/S of some women skiing down the hill quite gingerly; L/S and M/S as skiers come down the hill and through the middle of a clump of trees; M/Ss as they come through the trees one by one. M/S of a man skiing down the hill very fast; he lets go of his poles and takes off on a small ski jump; M/Ss as he is followed by two others.
