    Cuckfield, Sussex.

    L/S of crowds by a racecourse. M/S of a carriage drawn by two donkeys driving down the course, there are three glamorous young women sat in it. They are Avril Lewis aged 20, Christine Fraser aged 16 and Cynthia Pearl aged 18 from the Windmill theatre in London. C/U of a couple in the crowd watching them, M/S of the girls waving from the carriage. C/U of Bert and Rose Mathews, who are dressed as the Pearly King and Queen, they are the daughter and son in law of the real Pearly King and Queen. M/S as the girls are helped down from the carriage by two men and a woman. M/S of the girls stood with Rose and Bert.
