Titles read: 'NOW THE Special Pathe Pictorial Section for the Ladies - WHAT LA PARISIENNE IS WEARING'.

    Paris, France.

Various shots of fashionable ladies at a race meeting (? or some kind of fancy event or gathering). We see various examples of formal wear - lots of picture hats and long dresses with puffed sleeves. Some outfits look almost Edwardian or Victorian.

One of the most striking outfits is a black suit or dress trimmed with white, uncurled ostrich feathers. A blonde wears a lovely panne velvet picture hat. Another woman wears a long dress with large striped and puffed sleeves, with a section cut out from the back. A woman wears a white lace dress with a matching parasol.

Note: female commentator. The fashions seen here seem rather extreme and elaborate, but seem to be real women in their own clothes rather than mannequins.
