Dragon class yachts are seen racing off the coast of Torbay. Nice shots of the boats, their crew, the race, etc. Nice sunny day. Sunshine is measured with a special glass device that burns a line on a piece of paper. Brixham. Widecombe-in-the-Moor - Widecombe Fair. Various shots of the "old grey mare" being ridden through the streets by a man posing as Tom Pierce (?). Market stalls are seen selling various things including mugs painted with Widecombe Fair scenes. Livestock are judged in competitions. The hunt is seen riding off.

Narrator talks of the legend of Uncle Tom Cobleigh. Various shots of fairground rides and of two girls having a pillow fight as they sit astride a slippery pole.

Horses are ridden around a field then small ponies are led around. Presumably some kind of competition.
