Wedding of Miss Olwen Lloyd George. Location of events unknown.
Weddings; celebrations; festivities; marriage. Wedding of Olwen Lloyd George; the daughter of Prime Minister; is also a difficult crowd control situation for the London police. Opens with DS street with crowds on either side. A couple automobiles go down street. Then for some reason the crowd go wild and the people at the far end all start running into the street. Bobbies form a line holding people back. various crowd shots. Another quieter street. Bridesmaids in light coloured ruffled lacy gowns; bonnets; holding lots of flowers; stand on left FG. Horse-drawn carriage turns into street; with others following. The girls step forward and curtsy (possibly to some royal person in the carriage).
Another view of the carriages approaching; but not revealing their occupants Kinda fun shot of an auto decorated with flowers driving up street past people who don't much care -- quite a contrast to the scene in the other street; a workman at the side who is laying bricks or something barely looks up; a few other men dart across the street after the flower-covered car and before a bus. CU people getting out of a car. Then a nice shot of an awning covering steps from a building; and people from wedding standing around it as the bride & soldier groom emerge. CU Girl gives Olwen flowers; they stand there a while. back to shot of crowd on sides of street. Shot of father of the bride.
