    Full title reads: "Rye. 'We have done that which was out duty to do!' On third anniversary of the tragedy that stirred the Nation, a memorial to 17 gallant life boatmen inaugurated in the tiny Churchyard by the sea."

    Pan across congregation gathered in Churchyard for service to remember the Rye lifeboat crew who died in 1928. A memorial is draped with a RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) flag.
