    Dear Sir/Madam,

According to your website's description Sourabaya is located in North Burma. The correct location of the city of Surabaya is East Java, Indonesia. The film can be roughly dated late 1945/1946 when Allied (British) troops were stationed in Indonesia and were confronted with the Indonesian revolution.
