Start of the rugby international match between Wales and Scotland in Cardiff. GV. Faull kicks off for Wales and the ball is collected by a Scottish player. LV. The Scottish player passes to Stevenson who receives it. He is tackled by M. C. Thomas of Wales. Stevenson manages to pass to another Scottish player who kicks the ball down towards the Welsh half. LS. Welsh player gathering the ball, kicks it back towards the Scottish half. GV. Crowd looking on. LV. Scrum, Lloyd Williams of Wales passes out to Cliff Morgan who runs with it. He is tackled and brought to the ground. Also managing to pass the ball to C. Davies who is running hard towards the Scottish touch line when he kicks the ball out to another Welsh player as he himself is tackled. SV. Ground shot, G. Wells of Wales and A. R. Smith, Scottish Captain, chasing the ball. Wells kicks the ball as he is tripped by Smith and ball goes out. SV. Crowd looking on. LV. Welsh player getting ball away from scrum. It is gathered by Thomas who passes to Morgan. He passes to Davies but misses it and the ball goes loose and is chased once again by Wells and Smith. SV. Ground shot, Wells and Smith chasing the ball. Wells just manages to get to the ball first as it rolls over the line - touch down. First try for Wales. Score - Wales 3, Scotland 0. GV. Davies abut to take conversion kick. LV. Davies kicks and converts making the score Wales 5, Scotland 0. LV. Crowd cheering. SV. Scoreboard reading - Wales 5, Scotland 0. LV. Wales on the attack int he second half. The ball is passed to Thomas. He swerves an oncoming defender and goes straight into Weatherstone. He is brought to ground. SV. Crowd. GV. Smith lining up to take penalty kick. LV. Smith kicks and scores penalty goal for Scotland. Score - Wales 5, Scotland 3. SV. Crowd cheering. SV. Scotland attacking. Ball is passed to J. T. Docherty. He kicks it out towards left wing where it is gathered by Collins of Wales. He is tackled and brought down by Stevenson of Scotland. Ball goes loose and Docherty gathers it but is pushed out of play by Davies of Wales. GV. Crowd around scoreboard. LV. Wales attacking. Ball goes to Collins. He passes to Williams and as Williams is tackled he passes out to Collins again who scores a try for Wales. LV. Crowd cheering. LV. Scoreboard reading - Wales 8, Scotland 3. SV.
