Despite the title card, the location is Langley Field, not Langley Fields.
The crash occurred on 11 December 1937.
The plane that crashed was a Consolidated PB-2A. The pilot killed was Major Alfred J Waller.
There are quite a few mistakes in the old title cards - thanks for bringing this one to our attention.
