    L/S of huge crowds lining the street as the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball team ride through in a ticker tape parade after having won the Championship for the first time in 21 years. L/S of people being held back by police, some run alongside the cars and shake hands with the players. Various shots as the police struggle to control the crowd as it gathers around the steps of Borough Hall. American commentator says the people of Brooklyn were "grabbed by an advance case of galloping lunacy". The crowds surge forward and mounted police push them back. Good M/S of the players driving past. Various shots of the chaotic scenes.
