"Carreras" is Sir James Carreras, one of the founders of Hammer films.
"Howell" is Denis Howell, the then Minister of Sport.
"Annelie Drummond-Hay" was a showjumper.
"Christine Truman" was a tennis player, as of course was Virginia Wade.
"Jack Bodell" was a boxer.
"Christine Truman" was by this time Christine Jones, and in fact is named as such by the commentator.
"Lilian Board" should read Lillian Board.
