    Full titles read: "VARIETY ARTISTS GOLF TOURNAMENT ...and there was a great variety of strokes, costumes, scores - and language!"

    L/S of group of golfers standing in line, they are smiling, laughing and smoking cigarettes. The comedian Charles Austin starts swaying from side to side as if drunk, the others laugh. Intertitle reads: "Billy Merson - the winner". M/S of the comedian Billy Merson preparing himself to hit golf ball. he swings at it with club but misses, he tries another attempt but appears to fail again.

    M/S Charlie Austin attempting to hit ball. He also has very little luck at hitting ball. The other golfers stand in the background, they roar with laughter every time he misses. In the end he finally picks up the golf ball and throws it away in disgust.
