Titles read: "US TROOPS PARADE IN LONDON".

M/S of American soldiers marching along a London street - "for the first time in 22 years". A man is sharpening knives on a knife grinder beside the pavement and two girls watch the soldiers go by (yes, they are very handsome, aren't they?).

The United States troops are inspected in Green Park (?) by Lieutenant Colonel Barnes, who is commanding the units now in London. Voiceover describes each part of their uniforms, probably because they are much more modern and attractive than the British ones!

Note: old records state that the soldiers parade in Grosvenor Square, but it looks very much like Green Park, with barbed wire instead of railings.
