    Various shots of a US ship laying mines off the coast of the United States of America. L/S's of officers working in a central control room. They plot the cause of an oncoming dummy vessel and then demonstrate what will happen when the mines are activated. L/S of several explosion blowing the dummy ship to pieces. Several very good shots of eight inch guns firing at target of wood and tin in the water until it is destroyed. L/S's of anti aircraft guns firing at night.
