Unissued / unused footage - dates, locations and personalities may be unknown / unclear.

Various elevated shots of delegates speaking on the control of atomic power at United Nations Organisation (UNO) Conference.

Unidentified speaker makes speech at the UNO in Russian, then gives us a brief English translation. He talks of the joint efforts of the UN to secure peace and asks that this noble move achieves complete success.

Delegates applaud as he steps down from the podium. Unidentified man speaks passionately at the stand about the control of atomic energy - could be Uno Makin, Australian delegate.

The French delegate speaks in French. Chairman congratulates 'Committee 1' on a unanimous result of immense importance (we don't hear what it is!).

Shot of the empty speakers platform. Another unrecognised man talks of resolution submitted to UN from several countries regarding the problem of discovery of atomic energy and related matters.

US delegate James Byrnes (?) makes heartfelt speech about the use of atomic power for the benefit of humanity and not for its destruction.

Any information regarding identity of speakers seen in this item would be gratefully received.
