    See the following chronology of SM "U-107" during her final days.
    18th to 20th Nov 1918
    SM "U-107" sailed under the command of Kapitänleutnant Kurt Siewert from Heligoland to Harwich for delivery.

    12th Dec 1918
    It further sailed from Harwich to Portland.

    14th Dec 1918
    It arrived at Portland

    05th Jan 1919
    It sailed from Portland to Poole

    17th Jan 1919
    It sailed from Poole to Portland

    31st Jan 1919
    The Head of the Japanese Naval Delegation (In WW I Japan was an Ally to the US, France, Italy and the UK and was rewarded a "booty" of some German U-Boats after the war), Rear Admiral Kozo Sato, intervened at Portland to the RN that the U-Boat SM "UC-99" earmarked to be given to Japan is leaking and not fit for the transfer intended to Japan. Therefore, he proposed to receive SM "U-107" instead. The RN denied that claiming SM "U-107" to be given to the US. The Japanese then were shown at Pembroke the U-Boats SM "UC-92" and SM "U-112" as replacement "booty".
