M/S of the alms houses, the group walks up to a man sat outside at a table, he is Mr Grimwood-Taylor who is giving out the alms. C/U as one man walks up and signs for some money. C/U of Mr Grimwood-Taylor, C/U as he gives the old man a ten shilling note. M/S as a woman comes up for her money. M/S of two men sat at a table one of them is filling in a Pools coupon. C/U of Major Betterton, who is Chairman of the Trustees of the Hospital, talking to them. C/U as 79 year old Bill Edwards fills in his coupon, he smiles, C/U of the coupon.
