The race seen here is the 1963 24 Hours of Le Mans. It took place over 15 and 16 June 1963.

All mentions of "Richie Ginter" should read Richie Ginther.

The cars identifiable during the clip include:

    No 22 is a Ferrari 250P.

    No 26 is a Ferrari 250GTO LMB.

No 19 is an Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato.

No 00 is a Rover-BRM Turbine car co-driven by Graham Hill and Richie Ginther. The 00 number reflects the fact that this car was not officially a competing entry.

No 39 is a Lotus Elite Mark 14.

No 31 is an MG MGB.
