The crash occurred on 10 February 1930.
The plane involved was a Farman F-63 Goliath. The aircraft was destroyed while attempting an emergency landing at Marden airfield.
Thanks - anyone know why it was attempting an emergency landing?
The emergency landing was attempted after failure of the starboard tailplane.
