    Town Fete - somewhere in Britain. Date unknown - 1918 - 1920s?

Many different events. 1st shots from parade - men ride horses down street. 1 holds a flag; followed by marching band. Then Children's Royal Coronation Pageant: kids in costumes on balcony - little girl being crowned. Woman curtsies to the kid as she hands her scepter. Other little girls in lace & flowers on sides. CU boy in Elizabethan-style dress reads a proclamation. Ritual; pomp; cute kids.

Pan over crowd on street side. CU man in cape hands flag to rider. 2 men go down steps. Little Queen; 4 boys in period costumes go down steps. Parade; w/ band; float approaching. Then CU crowd in street; pan past. CU crowd in park; people pushing through.

Race in progress; runners approaching across park. Nice shots panning along spectators. Ladies w/ toddler in pram. Couples dance in park (lovely footage - SL); in roped off section; pan left. Same; w/ some sitting at tables. Very brief shot kid on pony; cut to kids on balcony again. Pan on adults on platform; some in capes w/ ermine collars; man reading some document.

Procession / parade approaching; bagpipe players. Children in all sorts of costumes. Boys in archer outfits; then a group in sailor suits w/ rifles. Girls in dresses of many different countries. Boys in clown costumes; knights; bakers carrying bowls; etc. GV over crowd; to church w/ some people on steps; cont. pan on crowd. Fun.
