  • A clapperboard at the outset reveals the date of filming to be 5 July 1976.

    Filming is for Thames Television's "Today" current affairs programme. The director is Mike Dormer, the cameraman is Frank Haysom.

    Initial scenes are in Old Palace Yard, SW London.

    At 00:47 we see the statue of King George V at St Margaret Street.

    At 04:42 we see Big Ben.

    At 06:37 we see Westminster Abbey.
